SCOTTISH BEACH series
I spent most of 2018 in the Scottish Highlands. Although I was constantly travelling back and forth I was able to fit in a little time to explore. The first x6 of these paintings are produced from a lazy afternoon on the beach - in the fishing and harbour town of Lossiemouth. There is also a triptych of Luskentyre Beach on Harris in the Outer Hebrides being worked on - the beginning of a series that I have now added to. Further larger works from Lossiemouth and a series from Iona have recently been completed and now included here to expand the overall series from x9 to x35 paintings
These paintings are all complete with beautifully handmade, scooped and hand-painted white or lime-washed wooden frames - leading the eye into the work. Signed by me on the front - and all labelled on the reverse these are ready to hang
