Developed from a walk around Loughrigg near Ambleside on a sunny and crisp December afternoon this small series is an attempt to capture the distinct light as the sun hits the bracken making it ablaze against the steely blue sky

These paintings are all complete with beautifully handmade, deep, scooped and hand-painted wooden double frames - leading the eye into the work. Signed by me on the front - and all labelled on the reverse these are ready to hang
